Anti-Aging Secrets and Family Priorities

On October 22nd, a video titled "The Icon of Slow Aging?! 87-Year-Old Kim Young-ok's Youthful Appearance Management Secrets Revealed!" was posted on the 'Kim Young-ok' channel.

While receiving scalp treatment at a specialized scalp care shop, Kim Young-ok joked, "I think I'm going to change a lot. I'm worried my facial skin will be pulled so tight that I'll look like I'm 10 years old."

She continued, "Even doing this one thing, I wonder what I'm so busy with. I talked to Na Moon-hee yesterday, and she said, 'Sister, now just live for yourself.' So I said, 'How can I live just for myself?' I can see my family members and there are things I need to do for them. Living that way isn't so bad." Her comments about sacrificing for her family drew attention.

Eight Years of Caring for Her Grandson

Kim Young-ok previously revealed on Channel A's 'Gold Counseling Center' last year that she has been caring for her grandson for eight years following a drunk driving accident. At the time, she stated, "There's a grandson I'm taking care of who was in an accident. He was seriously injured, so it's been eight years now. I really resent that driver. He just rammed into a perfectly healthy kid with a borrowed car while completely drunk. He almost died."

She disclosed that her grandson became paralyzed from the waist down due to the accident. Although there is a caregiver available so she doesn't have to provide direct care, she feels uncomfortable and chooses to care for him herself, once again conveying her deep love for her grandson.

64-Year Friendship with Na Moon-hee

Kim Young-ok, who frequently talks on the phone with Na Moon-hee, also revealed their genuine friendship, saying, "We're like family. We haven't fought once in 64 years."
