The winning design for the upcoming new JYP Entertainment headquarters

JYP Entertainment's Park Jin Young Reveals Plans for New Headquarters Building in Godeok-dong

Park Jin-young appeared on MBC's variety show 'Radio Star' on November 5th and shared exciting news about JYP Entertainment's plans to construct a new headquarters building.

The episode featured a 'JYPick' special with Park alongside Ahn So Hee, Boom, and Kwon Jin Ah as guests discussing various topics.

New Headquarters Details Unveiled

During the broadcast, Park revealed that JYP Entertainment currently operates out of five separate buildings. To streamline operations, the company plans to consolidate all facilities into one new headquarters located in Godeok-dong.

The CEO shared specific design requirements for the new building, emphasizing employee welfare. "The design requirement is that the building must be thin," he explained. "I want to give all employees the feeling of working by a window." He added that the new facility would also enable the company to provide organic lunch boxes to staff.

Crediting Success to Top Artists

Park acknowledged the artists who made both headquarters possible, stating, "The biggest contributors to our current Seongnae-dong office were Rain and Wonder Girls, while Stray Kids and TWICE are the top contributors to the Godeok-dong headquarters."

Stray Kids' Phenomenal Success

He highlighted Stray Kids' remarkable achievements, noting that seven of their albums, starting from their debut, have reached number one on the Billboard charts. To commemorate this unprecedented success, Park gifted each of the eight members with a pure gold album, which cost over 100 million won to produce.

Company Recognition and Philosophy

Park also mentioned that JYP Entertainment ranked third globally and first in Korea on TIME's list of 'World's Most Sustainable Growth Companies.' He attributed this success to transparent management practices, stating, "The most important thing in management is having no secrets. Even if my phone were hacked, there would be no problems."
