Rising Mixed-Gender Group Makes First Variety Show Appearance

All Day Project (ALLDAY), the sensational rookie group that burst onto the scene last June, is set to showcase their entertainment chops on JTBC's popular variety show 'Knowing Bros' airing at 9 PM on the 15th.

Annie: K-Pop's First Chaebol Idol

The group has garnered significant attention due to member Annie (Moon Seo-yoon), who is the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group Chairwoman Lee Myung-hee and eldest daughter of Shinsegae Inc. President Chung Yoo-kyung. She has been dubbed K-pop's first "chaebol idol," representing children from Korea's wealthiest families.

Traditionally, the demanding trainee system in the idol industry has been considered incompatible with children from chaebol families. Annie herself revealed that her mother initially strongly opposed her career choice. However, as Annie successfully takes her first steps as a singer, expectations continue to grow.

During the episode, Annie shares with a touch of humor: "My parents said I could only pursue my dream of becoming a singer if I got accepted to an Ivy League school. I think they said that because they didn't think I would actually get in."

She also explains the origin of her stage name: "The name Annie was given to me by my kindergarten teacher when I attended an English preschool. I only used it in America, but after my debut, even my parents call me Annie now, and my mom refers to herself as 'Annie's mom.'"

Members Share Their Unique Stories

Member Tarzan from Ulsan captivates viewers with his distinctive dialect and reveals a special connection with host Kang Ho-dong, who is also from the Gyeongsang region, drawing laughter from the cast.

Bailey introduces himself by sharing that he began working as a choreographer at age 13, having participated in creating dance routines for major acts including BIGBANG's Taeyang, BLACKPINK's Lisa, SHINee, Red Velvet, and aespa.

Woochan reveals an unexpected connection, stating: "Before my debut, I was Lee Soo-geun's rap teacher on a program." Meanwhile, Youngseo brings humor by confessing: "Before debut, I was so shocked by the list of stage names the company gave me that I insisted on using my real name."
